On a beautiful Sunday afternoon--shirtsleeve weather cloudless skies and light and variable winds--four days before Christmas, Arron and I took off from the Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport (KAMA) and flew Cessna 172 N239TX for an hour and twenty minutes. Always within 50 miles of the city of Amarillo, we flew to and landed at Panhandle, Pampa, Borger and then back to Amarillo.
